  • Stoa Education provides in-person tutoring exclusively in Sydney, Australia, with online tutoring available nationwide.

  • We offer tutoring in core subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Science. If you need help with a specific subject, feel free to contact us!

  • We provide both in-person tutoring in the Sydney region and online tutoring via Zoom.

  • If you’re not satisfied after your first lesson, we offer a full-refund - no questions asked.

  • Lesson length varies on goals, year level, and student’s wishes. Typically, lessons are 1.5 hours long, allowing the student to get the most out of their lesson without losing too much focus. For harder Year 12 subjects (Extension 2 Mathematics and English), 2 hour lessons are also recommended due to the complexity of the topics.

    • Private Tutoring: One-on-One sessions tailored to individual needs.

    • Group Tutoring: Small groups where students learn collaboratively at a lower cost.

  • We keep our group sessions small (6 students max) to ensure each student receives personal attention.

  • Yes! If you feel you need more personalised support, you can switch to private lessons at any time.

  • We accept bank transfers; however, for clients outside Australia, alternative payment methods can be arranged upon request.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, allowing the lesson to be rescheduled. Late cancellations will result in the lesson being charged in full.

  • Our tutors are highly qualified, holding or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field.

  • We consider the student’s needs. learning style, and subject requirements to match them with the best tutor.

  • Yes! We can assist with homework, assignments, exam prep, and subject-specific learning.

  • Yes! We provide specialised tutoring for selective school entrance exams, scholarship tests, and HSC/VCE/QCE exams.
