The most cost efficient form of tutoring, it allows a group of two or more individuals to work with one of our skilful tutors. This not only promotes the skill of idea sharing and communication, but also builds a sense of camaraderie as the students overcome challenges and achieve greatness together.

How we choose our Tutors

Our tutors are carefully selected based on their previous experience as a tutor/teacher, as well as their achievements and their aptitude.

Firstly, we review their qualifications, experience and skills to ensure that they align with Stoa Education requirements.

Then, we conduct a phone interview to get to know them a little more, including an assessment of their personality and determination to tutor.

Finally, we hold a Face-To-Face Interview, where we assess their teaching style, motivation and suitability to the role!

Our team includes:

  • University Graduates, who are experts in a related field, give endless amounts of wisdom not only for high-school, but beyond.

  • University Students, who are currently undertaking a degree in a related field. These passionate individuals often relate to younger learners.

  • Stoa Education provides in-person tutoring in Sydney, Australia, with online tutoring available nationwide.

  • We offer tutoring in core subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Science. If you need help with a specific subject, feel free to contact us!

  • We provide both in-person tutoring in the Sydney region and online tutoring via Zoom.

  • Our rates vary based on session type (private or group), year level and the location of the lesson (in-person or online). Please visit our 1-on-1 Tutoring page and Group Sessions page for more information, or contact us directly for details.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, allowing the lesson to be rescheduled. Late cancellations will result in the lesson being charged in full.

  • We do not offer trial lessons, but if you are not satisfied after your first lesson, we offer a full refund.
